HOW WE CAN HELP YOU GROW SPIRITUALLY

We believe that lasting spiritual growth occurs in an environment that is rich in relationship towards God and one another. The foundation and heart of spiritual life is found in knowing, loving and obeying Jesus Christ. For our spiritual lives to be healthy, vibrant and growing, we need the daily disciplines of personal worship, prayer, and Scripture study. We also need larger weekly gatherings for corporate worship, and regular small group gatherings for worship, prayer, study and sharing our lives together.

Sunday worship
We gather for worship every Sunday morning at 10 AM. This worship gathering is a rich blending of heartfelt singing, times of quiet, reflective prayer, and listening to God's Word. This meeting generally lasts about ninety minutes and is always followed by delicious food and time for friendship.
We generally celebrate the Lord's Supper (communion, Eucharist) on the first and third Sundays of each month, and weekly during the seasons of Advent-Christmas and Lent-Easter. For more on our understanding and practice of communion, our worship committee has attempted to express our understanding of worship in "Notes on Worship." Click on the link if you'd like to read it.

Small Group Gatherings
We have a variety of small-group opportunities. These small groups (also called "house churches," "home groups," "cell churches" or cell groups") generally meet weekly and consist of around eight members. Some home groups have been meeting regularly for years, others on more of a temporary ad-hoc basis.
Since the schedule of home group meetings changes frequently, please contact our church office for more information or for the specifics of time and place for our different small group gatherings.

ALPHA
Alpha is a ten-week study of the basics of what it mans to live as a follower of Jesus Christ. It is a safe and welcoming learning opportunity for those who are interested in exploring the Christian faith, those who have been "away from church" for a while and are considering returning, and for those who are new followers of Jesus.
Each Alpha meeting consists of a delicious meal together, listening to a 30-minute talk, and discussing each week's main ideas in a small group. There is also a weekend retreat about midway through the series.
Interested in Alpha? Contact our Alpha coordinators, Frank Sylvester (781.944.1460, fccpins@verizon.net ) or Lila Tocci (781.863.5272, lila@tocci.net).

Women's and Men's Prayer
Women gather for prayer each Wednesday morning at our church building from 6:30-7:15 AM.
Men gather each Friday morning at our facility from 6:00-6:45 AM.

OnTarget Men’s meeting
“OnTarget Men” gather each Saturday morning to be together, eat together, and study and reflect on the commands of Christ together. We meet each Saturday morning from 8:00-9:30 AM. All men are encouraged to join in as often as schedules permit, and guests are always welcome
